Do women spend less time working?

For paid work, yes. According to StatsNZ's 2010 Time Use Survey, women who work full-time spend an average of 5 hours and 30 minutes at work every day, compared with 6 hours 39 minutes for men (weekends are included in this average). Women working full-time still do more housework (1hr55) than men working full-time (1hr15).
