Who is Keith Ng?...

After a high-flying career in the glamourous world of student journalism, Keith Ng has traded-in the free pizzas and cheap beer for tax-deductible liquid lunches as a freelance journalist and pen-for-hire.

His writing has been published in the Listener, the Herald, the Dominion Post, the Sunday-Star Times, the Herald on Sunday, Unlimited, PC World and Merge magazine. He has appeared on National Radio, TV One, bFM, as well as in the New Zealand High Court.

His current professional aspiration is to be published in Creme.

Keith's mercenary activities include writing websites, corporate documents, press releases, speeches and anything else with words. He also does professional Chinese-to-English translations and PR. He works for money or really good causes (including money). Hire him here.

When not writing, he is tinkering with electronics and computers. His latest projects include getting a faulty iPAQ handheld computer to talk with his Linux computer, building an audio-out port into his desk phone, creating two armrest-mounted half-keyboards and transplanting a joystick on top a mouse.

He is currently training to be MacGyver in preparation for a trip from Hong Kong to London - overland - in a few years' time, doing aid work and journalism along the way. Do get in touch if you have useful ideas or contacts.
