It seems that Friday's post has struck a chord. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a competition. Any and all are warmly invited to join Public Address and Stratos/Triangle Television in crafting a New Zealand video response to the clips set to Lilly Allen's jaunty little anti-hate ditty, 'F*** You'.
We're looking for fresh ideas and local faces in what you might call advertisements for diversity.
The entries will be screened (in an appropriate timeslot) on Triangle on June 11 -- and we'll screen the winner at the Orcon Great Blend (more detals on that very soon) on the same evening.
The deadline for entries is June 5, so don't muck about. You can get them to Deb Faith at Stratos, 09 376 5030, in file, DVD or mini-DV format.
No, you don't have to be gay to play.
And if you haven't caught up with it yet, Last week's Media7 programme on deconstructing the news is worth a look. You can find the ondemand versions and links to the podcast on our shiny new microsite.
And it's now there on YouTube.
And just to make it really easy, here are the embedded YouTube clips:
