Thanks. That’s my effort albeit a few hours off the finishing routing and final piece of decking that was inserted after the french windows went in the master bedrm. we still needed chairs for the wine to celebrate and t’other said I did well. Now here is my neglected birthday present from last year. It was a small plant. No longer !!

plus I found this old thing at the Kaitaia flea Market. Onlt 25 bits but it's now one so it works but not in situ

Walking up Symonds St this afternoon … there were people with DSLRs everywhere … and I never clicked … anyway here’s some Grafton masonry and glass glowing in the afternoon sun.

Someone mentioned it on Tw, so I decided to race out before the ruggers and snap a couple. If I'd had more time, I would have gone to look at the burned out sound wall. Might be a job for another balmy evening.

I noticed driving by the burn'd out part the other day that they have plywood over it.....

    The last of the clouds.

Not autumn, but just as much a relief as autumn will be. A week of gloom and grey, but fortunately plenty of rain and not as hot as it’ll be in a month… But finally some blue sky!

    I really like ngirungiru!
They're the messenger birds among Kaitahu (fantails are also messenger birds - but of ill-import-)
