Hi, Thanks for sharing my timelapse! It took a few months to shoot. The animations are all produced in 'real space' using a Pixelstick. This is a 2m long array of LED lights that allow you to paint an image in the air by walking through the long exposure scene. The spinning ball effects are achieved by painting individual frames of a gif sequentially. Each frame is approximately a 30 sec exposure, and I shot 24 frames for each second of final footage. So yep, lots of long, lonely nights at the beach!!
