  • Richard Grevers, in reply to Hebe,

And here’s one from the Catholic Basilica in Christchurch when my digital photo summer school course was let loose inside the RC cathedral for a couple of hours. They’ll be needing the coins now.

I love the irony of Trust vs Padlock

Nerve ends in Pa lines...Ngai Tahu Pa site, next to Pegasus TownNorth Canterbury...

Have you ever walked in that place and noticed how the sound of the outside world seems muffled?

That is exactly what I saw; thought the photo was worth putting up in spite of my technical fail.

    Huey, Dewey, and Louie?

Happy ending! Here they are risen from the dead in Sunday's parade, in the very bath that featured in Ian's photo.

  • JacksonP,

    Happy ending!

You just made my day. Joyful and triumphant.
    Thanks.

A bit rough for the nephews to make do with sharing a bath, while Unca Donald got this wonderful chopper all to himself. Be still my beating . . . head.

quite a lot of my olds died there, including people who had fled to Kaiapoi (NOT Kaiapoi-hia, please – not that anyone has used that here) from other areas of invasion…and some of them wound up at Moeraki, and places further south…

they have never, in taha-maori terms, been avenged. The world they knew changed too fast, and so-

that place is crowded with death
