  • Nora Leggs,

Thanks you two : ) I actually got more sleep last night on the plane than he did - poor thing having to get up so early to come to the airport.

Enjoying the rain .... no really.

Have been asked if I have any photos of the pipes being played. One or two.

  • Damian Christie,

What lens/settings were you using here Jackson? Flash? Great pics, something I'm almost never able to replicate when I'm doing live music shooting...

Hi Damian. Thanks for the comments.

    Canon 60D with a Canon L Series 24 - 105 lens on f 4, no flash. (Not allowed)

The ISO ranged from 1600 - 3200, and I was shooting at around 80th to 125th of a second. The low light ones were tricky, but at times there was quite a good level of illumination on stage. The other thing I seem to do, as alluded to in post, is take HEAPS of pictures. 150 or so on the night.

Sorry for slow response Ian. ;-)

I went la la in Chch the week earlier - at the fabulous St Michael's wooden church. But no photos and alas, no organ, but everything else was right there in perfect measure. The audiences in the N Hemisphere are in for a real treat>
