    Getting there.

Turned off image stabilizing as that does no good on a tripod.

Luckily my old 70-200mm doesn’t have a stabilizer. On the other hand, the tripod wobbles in the breeze, so fine focusing was a challenge.

Well it was officially the first day of holidays. Much of it, for me and my girl, was spent in bed, catching up on some telly. Ruby did some sunbathing later in the day, in a very unusual place. For a dog, that is.

I dunno, I liked how the early evening light struck the leaves and blossoms. Mr Nokia seems to have cooperated.

Yesterday we had the traditional Clark Easter Family lunch. My sister talked too much, and I had to have regular breaks from the talking because I might talk more than most people, but I sure don't talk more than most of my family. It was pretty bucolic out here though.

Luckily for you lot, I'm watching you too. ;-)

Is that through your scope, or just the 300mm lens? The edge is amazingly clear. You can see the craters from side on.

One for JP. A kind of anti-roaming shot, with the flattie and all. Love the coke tray on the back though! On display at Sydney's Easter Show.

Sweet. One day I'll thoroughly bore everyone with a full Scooter pr0n post. I have a few shots in the can, coincidentally. ;-)
