Through the trees, the almost mid-autumn moon.

And somebody got stuck into the trees. Pity, while they were removing things, they couldn't remove the slogan warning of fines for people caught swimming in the dirty water. The pond was drained and filled in years ago.

    Looks amazing!
The array of related but independent framed reflections forming a cohesive whole -
with just enough imperfection of the window frames relative to the photo framing to settle any doubt as to its artifice or 'reality'.
Would be great as a big print.

Could this be the reverse view of yours, Nora?
Featuring the same old macrocarpa tree on Cheltenham Beach, but from landward?

    just enough imperfection

thanks Chris, and I snapped it from the car window on the way past! but there is a cluster of great reflecting buildings down this strip and i keep saying i will get down there on foot and take some more.

Could this be the reverse view

    sharp eye for a tree

It's very photogenic! More gnarly with age than my mother on the seat there, refreshing old memories, making new ones.
She lived with her grandparents one block inland in the mid-1920s - across the street at the other end of that small reserve. Best years of her childhood.

...can see into you, apparently. No mysterious, wind-driven branch knocked my hat off.
