    Trillos Nightclub

conjuring up more second hand shop wonders. some years ago now, second hand shop on Anzac Ave had a whole set of Trillos crockery – the design was a black and white map of the area with Trillos marked on it.

I've seen bees buzzing in Beijing's highest, driest, coldest county, and back down in the city for some final packing and cleaning, I saw this fellow scuttling along. Spring seems to be springing early this year.

hmmm.... does that mean the southern autumn is going to come early, because that's where we'll be in a couple of weeks...

if recent years are anything to go by, you'll get a long season of spring morphing into long autumn and you'll feel confused until winter sidles in.
You might get to have extended new year celebrations by the sound of it too.
Good luck with the shifting : )

Well, I seem to have a functional connection for the time being, so while everybody else is either blowing stuff up or presumably recovering from last night…. Happy New Year!

And the dawn of the 羊年.

Well I never: the stuffed lamb! I remember that in Mouldy's Beehive office along with a stuffed Bambi.

I couldn't reconcile the little horrors being chosen to sit in a prime spot with the most powerful man in New Zealand. Had thought he might have sculptures or summat.

This is the guy who, after being criticised at a Commonwealth heads of state shindy for fostering sporting contacts with South Africa, boasted of having told the President of Nigeria to see a taxidermist. I had no idea that he’d been doing so himself.

Speaking of taxidermy, did you ever see the Pleasant Point stuffery shop window? I lost my 80s photos of it unfortunately.

Summer’s flowers: Greg planted a sunflower forest at the front of the house, and to our surprise the monarchs love sunflowers, as do the praying mantis.

A fine happy flower. Hope you've staked it for tonight and all is well.
