    Science magazine shows were always looking at some practice or product that developers (or just the host) would say they expect to be on the market in x years. And that was the last we ever saw of them. Some of course have been superceded out of all sight so the nostalgia of what we used to consider the horizon to reach would also be interesting. I'd watch a show about those...

    Speaking of news clips, I was a bit disappointed during Hindsight on the police that during the fast forward when the subject of arming the police came up, you didn't include Eating Media Lunch's New Zealander of the Year. In light of the shooting of Halatau Naitoko, the clip is particularly relevant.

    er, who are these 'you guys' you seem to casually accuse of lethargy and ennui?
    I think you'll find many comments and blogs 'speaking up' about the demise of TVN7 and quality brodcasting, around these parts, maybe you need to dig a little deeper...
