I think the Italians lucked out in this draw; not only do they get to stay in sunny Nelson (craft brewing capital of New Zealand) but they also get two fairly good chances at victory. They could become the darlings of the upper South Island. The Russians can just enjoy?

Fiji ? Samoa: When two island nations play each other all hell can break loose. Great fun for the neutrals, especially with two opposing haka to start the game (I use ?haka? as a generic term here).

Yep, not a lot of imagination went into it. Southland play at Rugby park and there's a Rugby Park in Christchurch as well. I'm guessing there's several others around the country for further confusion.

I'm looking out for a "Bollocks Park" where people go to kick their balls round.

Yes, I agree Hadyn. Wales v. Samoa in Hamilton – that really could be a wonderful game of rugby. (Go Samoa!) It's a great ground when there's a crowd in and they give a damn. The Lions v. Maori match in 2005 was amongst the most stirring games of rugby?

I was lucky enough to be at the last two Maori-Lions matches. 1993 was a cracker whilst 2005 had the best atmosphere I've experienced in NZ, epic match.

I loved the 2005 match. I got to meet the team at the official naming and then go to dinner with them. Meeting Matt Te Pou was so damn cool (I swear that's the last name drop I'll do... ok Carl Hayman was drinking Budweiser, now I'm done).
