I thought the twin-drummer lineup brought a real snap and intensity to proceedings. It was brilliant, basically.

Yep, and with three great sets in one evening, either solo or with various Builder configurations, it was definitely a hat trick from Bill.

Ah, so I arrived during Set 2.

I also ducked out in the break to get a beer to bring back. Tbh, I rather enjoyed just getting into it and hardly talking to anyone :-)

After they played Alien I thought ‘yeah, top that!’, but they did, and did again, and then some more. Really glad I caught this gig.
There was a bit of hat theme going on here too…..
And entertaining hilarity as Mr Direen struggled with whether to deviate from his set list on the wall or not.

Chuffed with the way Mr Direen has ended up with little red devilly horns on his head in that top pic : )

That is a damn fine pic - capturing Mr D brilliantly - playing out of his skin - the second shot nicely shows The Adjustment Bureau at work... I'm sure no two people will remember this gig in the same way...
