  • Hilary Stace,

This NY Times article has probably already been posted several times but it explains a lot. How Senator McCarthy's lawyer became Trump's mentor. Also a strange link to Auckland zoo.

According to Nicholas Von Hoffman's Citizen Cohn biography, Roy Cohn was given to introducing his NZ-born lover as "Sir Peter Fraser, Prime Minister of New Zealand".

It just seems like a real lowering of the bar on what’s acceptable.

You forgot to mention that former candidate Ben Carson has attempted to 'two-degrees-of-separation' Hilary Clinton with Lucifer. As best I can make out, because she wrote her thesis on Saul Alinsky, and because Saul Alinsky's book 'rules for radicals' acknowledges Lucifer, that clearly makes her a witch.

Personally, I'd need to weigh her against a duck before I was convinced.

    BREAKING!

Porn viewership hits all-time high in Cleveland during RNC after GOP declares it a public health crisis

This week, Republicans descended on Cleveland, and so did tons of strippers.....It’s well known that Republicans make it rain, and girls like me make the quadrennial pilgrimage to the Republican National Convention anticipating a big haul.

Hypocrisy, is the greatest luxury. Raise the Double Standard!

Also worthy of mention: Laura Ingraham's 'nazi salute' (realistically, probably just an awkward wave. Probably. Maybe....?)

...strikingly like scenes from the RNC - especially the grasp of logic!

Do they have 'cucking-stools' by their 'weigh-houses' in Cleveland (also home of Howard the Duck! )

    Venus rising…

As best I can make out, because she wrote her thesis on Saul Alinsky…

…and some of Michelle Obama’s speech that Mrs Trump’s speechifier-general purloined also contained Alinskyisms!!
    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/07/19/melania-trump-plagiarism-hillary-biden-barack-michelle/
Barack himself being a convert to Community Activism and Organising – and God forbid anyone should work for the good of the community!!
    see:
    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/07/there_s_a_candidate_who_resembles_lucifer_and_it_s_not_hillary_clinton.html

If Trump wins this election, it will be because his comforting, homespun style will have charmed enough Americans to support his cause, just as Satan’s silken, and often unsupportable, promises seduced both angels and Eve.

I suspect Crosbie Textor and the Right use ’Rules for Radicals’ more strenuously than anyone else – judging by who comments on it: (considering Alinsky formulated these to fight the tactics used against communities)
    http://www.bestofbeck.com/wp/activism/saul-alinskys-12-rules-for-radicals
Trump is using the bulk of these

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

    and
    http://patriotupdate.com/proof-that-obama-is-linked-to-radical-alinsky/

In my opinion, each of us should continuously study Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and remain on our toes in recognizing Alinsky-like strategies when we see them. And since I really don’t want you to have to spend your hard-earned money on a Saul Alinsky book, following are some of the key Community Organizing tactics you need to be aware of (since the democrats are using these in full-force as we speak):

    Only fools can fool themselves…
…welcome to the Looking Glass World, indeed

Yes, there's a little preface where Alinsky makes a wry reference to Lucifer as "the original radical", but that was enough for Dr Ben. It was hilarious – and also easy enough to find tweets from people who lapped it up.

I can never reconcile Carson's status as a skilled and innovative neurosurgeon with the palpable stupidity of his thoughts on most other things.

OK, my first reaction was to snark Tweet along the lines that at least you know what Satan stands for and he does make a point of keeping his promises.

But what's not at all funny is in that room -- where a large number of the delegates are extreme Protestant fundamentalists -- that dog whistle is as clear as it is terrifying. Remember this was the same day when the Trump Campaign had to "clarify" that off course they don't agree with various campaign advisors Hillary Clinton should be executed by firing squad.

Think about that for a moment.

Some one has done the math on that speech and says There’s a 1 in 87 billion chance Melania didn’t rip off Michelle An Astrophysicist Used Math To Show Melania Trump Stole Her Speech

The earlier story I mentioned about Trumps ghostwriter mentioned how impossible it was to get any coherent content from Trump at all. And that he doesn't read books FWIW

  • Ian Dalziel,

Day four live – the acceptance speech is coming

What time will Mr Trump speak?
In prime time of course. The exact timing will depend on how long other speakers take before him but expect to see Mr Trump emerging, probably through some dry ice to the sound of Queen’s We Are The Champions, at about 9pm US eastern time.

10:22 AM Friday, in Wellington is
6:22 PM Thursday, in Cleveland, OH, USA

So approx high noon to 1pm, here by my reckoning

    Armageddon ringside seats for this…

These are some of the celebrities who have campaigned, fundraised or written about their support for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race:
    Stephen Baldwin
    Azealia Banks
    Lou Ferrigno
    Hulk Hogan
    Jesse James
    Loretta Lynn
    Sarah Palin
    Kid Rock
    Dennis Rodman
    Mike Tyson

  • Rosemary McDonald, in reply to Tom Semmens,

    Speaking of wierd

In a 2009 essay called The Education of a Libertarian, Thiel declared that capitalism and democracy had become incompatible. Since 1920, he argued, the creation of the welfare state and “the extension of the franchise to women” had made the American political system more responsive to more people – and therefore more hostile to capitalism. Capitalism is not “popular with the crowd”, Thiel observed, and this means that as democracy expands, the masses demand greater concessions from capitalists in the form of redistribution and regulation.

The solution was obvious: less democracy.

    We're in deep trouble then?

    Update:
The convention gets under way at 7:30 p. m. EST (11:30 a.m. NZ). The theme for the evening is "Make America One Again." Trump himself is expected to start his speech a little around 8:30-8:45 p.m. EST to formally accept the GOP nomination.
