    This is small time stuff but it's worth considering what has gone on in other Pacific countries and I do recall quite a few voices on the Left arguing that such things could happen here if Treaty grievances weren't properly dealt with.

    I wasn't very impressed with Iti's recent trip to Fiji to offer support to Bainimarama.

    I wasn't very impressed with Iti's recent trip to Fiji to offer support to Bainimarama.

    I doubt Bainimarama will ever be that desperate.

    Last time he went over to an earlier coup he later said he went to talk, to find out for himself, and to offer to mediate.

    Bainimarama is a strange bed fellow though for Tame Iti.

    Hardly. One of the less appealing traits of Maori sovereigntists has been their support for thugs in Fiji.

    it hasn't been mentioned, but i think it's worth noting; the earlier confused threads for anti-bypass activists and the people at 128 abel smith - this is because by far the worst crime that happened at 128 was recycling bicycles - the filthy car-haters.
