  • Sacha, in reply to debunk,

Hard to know what decision processes are used for List appointments.

a weakness in the current implementation, yes - but the concept of voters responding to lists that more accurately reflect the population than FPP did is easily borne out by the faces in parliament now compared with 20 years ago.

  • Ian Dalziel,

    dunking garner...
I hear Judith Collins likening her last few weeks to the 'Salem witch hunt' ...

Respectfully I'd counsel that she did most of the 'ducking' herself!

  • Ian Dalziel,

    Putting the Lethe in lethargy...

    Unseemly whinging on Radio NZ

Should she be in Parliament, let alone a Minister, if she can't understand questions on the hop?
As well as having the creepy creeping memory loss that is seemingly epidemic in the National seats... her fall back to the tired 'Some might say that, I couldn't possibly comment'-like equivocation, shows how out of touch she is...

    Time to go...

  • Sacha, in reply to Ian Dalziel,

Post at The Standard adds some details, including transcript.

Collins wants us to believe she understood "after the dinner" to mean the same evening rather than any later time. And that it was coincidence she corrected this misinterpretation after parliament could no longer ask her about it for a couple of weeks.

Then she has the gall to whinge about her and her family being "attacked".

The story also mentions RNZ's subsequent interview with Key (6m).

  • Rob Stowell,

Te Tai Tokerau. Kelvin is currently a list MP. If you are enrolled there you can vote Hone for the electorate and labour party and get two reps :)
