  • Ian Dalziel,

    Gio caching...

    Tiso is Rawshark.
    Yeah, I said it.

You do realise the NZ Police and security forces (and their masters) have absolutely no sense of humour...
The only 'whistleblowers' they like are Referees and even then....
Here's hoping they take less than 10 hours to search both your houses,
    here's hoping I'm wrong...

  • Grant McDougall,

Always a fun read, the WOTY reveal. I'm really pleased #dirtypolitics won; it was the biggest story in NZ politics for years and in years to come will taint Key's legacy. It'll continue to linger over the government for the rest of their term - and rightly so.

Also, it is all encompassing of the times and issues, whereas others like Whaledump and "at the end of the day" wouldn't have been as widely known or existed without it.

  • weka,

“How could Tiso possibly have known?” said a by-now liquefied Brown. “Unless … Tiso is Rawshark. Yeah, I said it.”

Much more likely is a dirty politics conspiracy between Tiso and Brown. Just saying.

It’s well know round here, that Brown once ate a duck from out of a tin.

That's a dirty, filthy lie Crawford.

The duck was in a jar.

Just to state that "textual relations" was made up by a journalist. But that journalist was not Lloyd Burr

No kidding. It's been around since at least 2008.

Yep. The sequence outside the courtroom in Operation 8: Into the Forest, where a member of the police prosecution team insists that the freshly exonerated ‘terrorists’ are still guilty as hell of 'something' as far as he’s concerned, is deeply creepy.

  • Hebe,

Cool. Party at Gio's, him being a Marxist and wanting to redistribute everything. Cunning, Brown, cunning.

Dangle a tinned duck in front of a comrade and they always cross over.

As Greta Garbo says in Ninotchka, we have the strong ideals, Paris has the lovely climate. Or words to that effect.

Delicious duck in a stylish French jar I now keep pencils in. Jesus, having a Faro Fresh almost literally around the corner is going to be the death of me. Especially if I manage to convince David that re-mortgaging the house for a turducken is a good idea.

I would consider* having 20 people around on Christmas Day purely so I could say "I cooked a turducken."

    *Would not consider

Funny you should say that (warning: contains Pete George at sewerblog).

  • Russell Brown,

I wouldn't make you go there, but here's Pete George in Kiwiblog comments this morning:

Brown et al have tried to depict ‘Dirty Politics’ as John Key bad, the left clean ... a number of core commenters on Hard News showed how soft they are, they didn’t like their ‘Nicky is God’ meme being challenged and Russell ensured an alternative view was shut out. The Public Address vote on Word of the year reflects a message controlled community view.

    Bless.

Truth is, I finally had to ban Pete on account of him being a tendentious windbag apparently immune to reason.
