Sky’s person seemed to suggest that Spark et al walked away from ‘equivalent’ type offers made to them
No real interest from ISP's (or their customers) in ‘wholesale’ that is basically reselling Sky’s box and bundle model. Consumers want their sport fix on the go via mobile or on device at home. NBC had an awesome Olympics app which people could use to watch live, replays, interviews etc etc on their mobile. I'd definitely pay for that.

Julie Anne Genter showed up to a Business NZ thing I attended last year, and was very very knowledgable about transport planning issues and how it relates to the Auckland growth/liveability aspirations, and communicated/related very well to a room that was essentially full of corporate lobbyists. Some quality candidates for the good people of Mt Albert to consider.

I don’t have an issue with the idea of online learning, per se. After all, if we have genuine teacher shortages, for example in STEM (and some of the facts around number of science teachers in areas of NZ like, say, Northland, are appalling), then the idea of using tech to give more kids online access to some of the best Science teachers in NZ should not be regarded as a bad thing. But I think for the vast majority of people who benefit from social interaction and community, you will need a classroom to beam the lessons into and the wrap around coaching to go with the online teaching. But this need not be an idealogical or political discussion.

With respect, the creation of an environment for massive bias towards investment in property for both domestic and foreign investors predates the current government by many years. Granted, it's now hitting an extreme but this has been a generation in the making
