Wow -- so was it kind of like seeing the Sex Pistols at the 100 club London in 1976 ?I hear that was a pretty darn bristly gig, though JL was 19 at that show so a few years older than the Lorde.

Yes nicely broken down Russell. I agree I think Shearer/Labour are in trouble on that very front. Plus when Key needs to, he'll disingenuously bend the truth to suit his argument, and he needs an opponent who is quickfire able to call him on that. I actually think Labour at this point need a new leader, fast. Gift of the gab and a very sharp train of thought are essential and basic prerequisites in a leading politician. Lovely as Shearer is, those gifts he does not have.

Those small bars sound interesting and not having to stay up all night - gee, next time I'm there. As to KA - it suits rowdy guitars, young Americans Wavves were very good last year there, and Kurt Vile in December made the place hum too. So there is still a place for the old beast.

I ride for fun/fitness only.
Only in the dry. So long shorts and brightish cotton tee. In winter long sleeved cotton tee.
Puma skate shoes socks . Never cycle shorts nor longs . Bike - 3 speed light as roadbike.
Usually short fast rides of 45 mins or so in the inner city. -
Word, RB. And it was fun to actually watch some intelligent tv before 10.30pm. And tweet geek it, same time.

That pic of Andy M and Muldoon is fantastic. Wow. Great doco too. Bleakly I was the first leg break in the big bottom bowl at 13 years old. Loser, should have left the place to Andy and the pros.
