Unsure how the brain wired this as my earworm for this post but
with appropriate image too...
But perhaps the team needs that stern talk in the sheds to attain their potential...
Er, Washington Post meant of course. Wishington is so 2012.
From a Wishington Post chat
Roxanne Roberts :
The amazing thing is that a six-month process remained a secret. It takes a lot to surprise a roomful of WaPo editors and reporters, and -- trust me -- everyone was stunned.
Putting aside the irony of none of the journalists breaking the story at their own paper the six months certainly fits with the planning of the paywall.
Don[ald Graham] will not have any offficial role with the paper; he'll be part of the other, as-of-yet unnamed company with the remaining corporate assets.
I was interested this acquistion followed so soon after the Washington Post introduced its paywall (with allowance of 20 free articles/month for registered but unsubsribed readers). I think the social good component was a factor for the Grahams Trust discounting the price.
And for those that can't make it to the film, an edited version is available at Maori TV.
Mores the pity.
Um, would that be A Taste of Armageddon when
the crew of the USS Enterprise visits a planet whose people fight a computer simulated war with a neighboring enemy planet. The crew finds that although the war is fought via computer simulation, the citizens of each planet have to submit to real executions inside "disintegration booths" based on the results of simulated attacks
as the Enterprise breaks orbit, Fox
[not that Fox]
reports that the peace negotiations are going relatively well
