Well,some people walk in the rain and others just get wet.Also, our plants really appreciate it.
I know it can be frustrating (like Summer series last week)but I guess thats why we have "postponed" and not "cancelled. -

the smaller option means a smaller mortgage, less stress, and more discretionary spending (i.e. holidays in vietnam). the banks are the enemy, but everyone seems to think they're your best friend...
Exactly what we did and you"re absolutely right, makes for a quality lifestyle, but this hasn't made the bank the enemy for us. The mortgage is affordable,the suburb is great (people in the street talk to each other) and the dog has a garden.Without the bank, our nterest would have been more. I still feel, if you make a decision to own, figure out what is in your budget. The nice thing about owning gives one security.(Am I getting old?)

. My excuse for opting out is that I never mix uppers and downers. It's actually bloody annoying that I even need an excuse, but P-heads looove company.
As an alternative you could say somethimg like "no , the gaping' weeping,scabby holes in your face are not much of an incentive. "
Not that I feel anyone should need an excuse.I lived in Oz for 11 years. When I returned, I found it took a year or so to readjust. I think age has alot to do with it. I now try to understand the big picture and , having travelled, think we have a fantastic country.
Went all over the place to buy a house and once I moved to a bank loan,found the 8% cheap.I also think a plan is good and without one,stupid. Noone has to keep up with the Jones. -
They( Cambell live last night) say the somali woman who survived rape had come from a refugee camp. It is also mentioned she was beaten. She has difficulties apparently. No shitsherlock!

...and the tuis are singing (although one is really quite beautifully mad) , the flowers are bloomin', the expats are visiting, and all are agreed, what a beautiful lil' country we got down 'ere.Wouldn't swap it for the world!

I have also switched back to sun latte, as it steams well for coffee (and there is a feeling of supporting the underdog I suppose.)I have always been a supporter of a Boutique NZ. Time and time again we get recognition for our quality nz made goods.Why is it percieved unaffordable to eat organic when we could tackle other health issues with a concerted effort to recognise it is necessary to have basics for all, and not just coke vending machines.Fair trade. Fair planet.Ok I'm off to have my butterless, margerineless toast but the coffee is excellent. Thanks South America. -

More to the point, I noted $3.50 for Butter! (which I did not buy, Fonterra) and warning of another increase this week. -

Yep.. My point was that it is farmed, can be enjoyed without raiding the sea,easy to cook and tastes great and costs less. Thats our Xmas lunch/dinner. And you are right Shep. I am all for respect for the planet.It is such an easy thing to do, if only people could be less selfish eh ?
