Big treasure I'm working on... a sprawling six-hour mixtape tribute to Kraftwerk by Ninja Tunes DJ Food http://streamified.me/a88681
looking forward to hearing Scott's Media 7 piece over the weekend (rather than reading his awesome blog), cheers

This morning's Herald has a major feature about NZ's illegal bike gangs. (It's not what you think).

truly, Radio with Pictures…
Dylan Horrocks’ chat about comics on Nights
with Bryan Crump on Radio NZ.Good to see the nights are drawing in…
Nice also, to see Dylan Horrocks and ’Hicksville’ referenced* in the interesting (but flawed) The Someday Funnies – a project resurrected from the ’60s & ’70s, to now finally see the light of day…
* you have to read the book - Christchurch Library has a copy
and I am pleased to say they also have a copy of Kate Beaton's excellent Hark a Vagrant - may I congratulate their graphic novel / comics purchaser!
super troper…
also sad to note the recent passing of Moebius – Jean Giraud, to whom we have much to be grateful for, in our modern world and memes… -

Just dropping this here: Kendrick Lamar feat Gunplay – Cereal and Cartoons. Big, crunchy, and way too deep.

Have the book & I really esteem Dylan as a great ANZ creative person - look forward to getting Kate Beaton's "Hark a Vagrant" (1st time I've heard of it.)

Was recommended The Punch Brothers "Who's Feeling Young Now?" and it is bloody good and , dare I say, so is Springsteen's new"Wrecking Ball". Also the Arcade Fire track "Abraham's Daughter" on The Hunger Games soundtrack, which in turn is from a surprisingly intelligent and engrossing movie,
Good stuff all round,
