    I know what you mean. Here’s Aaron Tokona of Cairo Knife Fight at the Powerstation last Friday night. They laid on the strobes and I think this shot was taken when they were really kicking in. Mean as.

    I used to photograph theatre a lot, working at dress rehearsals and using my fastest 50mm lens and moving me to compensate for not being able to zoom. Took a tumble over the seats on a couple of occasions. Started out using the Kodak 1600 print film but switched to Fuji 800 when it came out as it was less oversensitive to red, and pushed better. I recall a nice shot of a twentyish Robyn Malcolm lit by one candlepower (must be somewhere in a moving box at present)
