  • Riddley Walker,

yeah fair point about et al's wordiness but overall i like thier work.
and yes capital gains tax would be a nighmare to administrate in practice, i gather they've tried in the UK to much headacheyness.

if you are following the instructions at the bottom left and it isn't happening, it might be your browser, what are you using?

  • Riddley Walker,

you using 2 asterisks either side of a word for bold,
you using 2 underscores either side of a word for italics?

  • Riddley Walker,

if you want to make a word bold:

type 2 asterisks ( * ) before it, and another 2 after the word, it will then come out bold when you post.

if you want to make a word italic:
type 2 underscores ( _ ) before it, and another 2 after the word, it will come out in italics when you post.

firefox and safari are pretty standard and i think RB is a mac man so i think your software should work ok.

  • Ben Austin,

well, just to get us all back on or off, depending on your p.o.v, topic - segregated school dances to be a thing of the past in Georgia!

  • Peter Cox,

Oh dear! Sorry Steven, I just realised I did you a terrible dis-service - my post a couple pages back concerning artistic innovation should actually have been directed at Tom Semmens, not you.

    So apologies!!

I was wondering why the guy who wrote some of the ridiculous things he was putting out had suddenly come over all thoughtful and reasonable!

  • Russell Brown,

Now I get a nasty login form every time I open a public address page.

"To view this page, you need to log in to area “Staff” on dev.scoop.co.nz."

All fixed. They were switching over to a new website and for a short time on Friday night that happened because they're serving some of our ads.

  • merc,

It is the Aeon of The Fishes, The Cross is the hook, Christ is the bait, hence the Sign Of The Fishes on some vehicles you may see, Peter The Fisherman...and so it goes. Christians are fish.
It's OK to eat fish becuase they don't have any feelings, Kurt Cobain.
Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam, Kurt covers The Vaselines.

  • merc,

As a family we sing this Kurt cover on car trips,
Meat Puppets: Lake Of Fire lyrics
where do bad folks go when they die?
they don't go to heaven where the angels fly
they go down to the lake of fire and fry
won't see 'em again till the fourth of july
i knew a lady who came from duluth
she got bit by a dog with a rabid tooth
she went to her grave just a little too soon
and she flew away howling on the yellow moon
where do bad folks go when they die?
they don't go to heaven where the angels fly
they go down to the lake of fire and fry
won't see 'em again till the fourth of july
now the people cry and the people moan
and they look for a dry place to call their home
and try to find some place to rest their bones
while the angels and the devils
fight to claim them for their own
