Can I just say?
God, Russell, I am so sorry - I have managed to jack this thread AGAIN. (I really didn't mean to, this time.)

Front-loaders FTW!
I've hated every front loader I've ever tried to use.

Everyone has a dishwasher, it’s just one effect of your general depravity that yours has failed to become manifest in the physical world.
Oi! What depravity?

It’s going to be essentially a dishwasher-based religion.
I don't have a dishwasher. Will I be cast out?

Forks prongs up, knifes blade down. Soon as I found my religion, it will be the third commandment.

dishcussion, surely?
Well played, Sir.

(Megan and I MET on PA. This is how we know each other. The thriving state of our sidekick/bitch relationship is just a testament to this community.)
I sometimes forget that. I sent you a shy little email inviting you for a drink when you were next in Wellington. I even told you you could go shoeless.
How times have changed.

See I missed out on that, having given up early on the thread in question; but when Megan mentioned it I just assumed it would have been about manual dishwashing,
Ah, I linked to the wrong thread, but it was.

Yeah, and I am one of the worst perpetrators of that. I just assume people can ignore me and keep talking about the important stuff, though.

No, it’s not a bad thing per se, but it marks the point at which anyone else who wants to contribute is likely to conclude that the ship has sailed.
I dunno, I've seen threads come back from the dead. God, in the middle of the thread about The Hobbit stuff, there was a three page conversation about correct dishwashing technique, and that thread went on for AGES.
