He won't be the brightest, perhaps
But he'll be the whitest
And I'll vote for that -

The Romney strategy is to focus on is the 5 to 10 % of swinging voters. He, in the Mother Jones link, lumps the 47% ( of those who want social policy in the form of health care, housing and welfare) as votes for Obama and as a goup people who don't pay taxes.
That Romney is contesting this election represents the GOP surrendering and gifting Obama a second term, The GOP must be serioulsy considering saving their ernest efforts till the following election.

I actually always was a Superman fan. Can't say whether Clark's journalism thing was a part of the appeal though.
No doubt the appeal was wearing the underpants on the outside.
The media pundits have become, in their own minds, the news - they seem to all have the same heavy sinus infection and are blowing their noses in public.
It distracts from Key being an embarrassment abroad.

The Kora tribute is class - and fittingly so.

The Herald online the font is annoying – the previous online presence was more to my preference.
The Poll of the day – today I found interesting – it could become a drag.
The format appears to lend itself to sensation rather than news and editorial content,
“Cross dresser robs Good Samaritans” - I thought they could have gone to the effort of fining out what he was wearing – at least.
The Bob Jones piece he has written many times before – that it has over 50 comments is surprising as it is retread rather than a “hot issue” of the day.

He felt the urgent legislation was worthwhile because if the boatpeople had come to New Zealand under the old legislation and claimed refugee status, "it could have taken years to get rid of them."
No Just get them here, give them citizenship, pay them the minimum wage and the cost of living would see to it that they would be gone sooner rather than later.

Will the Immigration legislation be as effective as the Anti Terror legislation?
The Herald article - Immigration Minister Guy - "New Zealand has never had a "mass arrival" of asylum seekers".We have a generation/work force leaving as economic refugees seeking asylum in Australia.
The wider (un) employment situation in this country.
The changes to industrial law – State Sector Act, the emphasis on best sourcing, the removal of the requirement to conclude collective bargaining, and an option for employers to calculate the cost of partial pay reductions in respect of partial industrial action – will have the effect of reducing wages and increase the rate of worker departure.
Working people are to be punished further and have the option of banishing themselves to Australia or elsewhere in the pursuit of a brighter future (for themselves).

Our generation
The ageing hipsters; demographically that’s a fair few cohorts past the point of no return.

Once the man with two first names has stood in a position that adjusts John Key’s gayness to a suitable level - I want to see what his next issue will be.
"There are people out there who simply don't like to see their prime minister doing things like dancing on stage with transvestites, as he has done in the past,"
I find Key's dancing droll.
We have a Prime Minister who sat oblivious to the social reforms from the 1970s onwards and is dead set on continuing the misguided work begun by the Douglas/Lange Govt.
Key skirts around issues, he is without foundation and soul and it shows.

I always thought that Destiny in Motion was akin to a bowel movement
How Blasé, How Blasé - Destiny in Motopm - sounded like a retread - the bastard child of a Duran du run run and the Fixx - The 80s produced some awful stuff
Here is a retread - takes 40 odd seconds to get started - sit back and have a Comfylicious Chairgasm:
