Rosie, Big O is in South Westland. It is not a large settlement. We also refer to it as "The Navel of the Universe" because, as a community, we have a well-developed sense of our importance and aspire to be lint.

Sofie, I know of Gillian - you're right - brillant!
-
Last - but pertinent comment - where do youy think all of Greymouth's
'waste' goes?
And why no locals are very keen on Grey River 'bait? -
O, and all sewage is within property bounds (septic tanks/Oasis-type sytems.)
-
Rosie - there's been an ongoing discussion among the inhabitants of Big O about water for literally quarter of a century.
*We pay rates to 2 local body councils (WDC & WRC). We get very little in return for our rates.
*We run our own water scheme.
*Actually, the government has been working on improving water quality (including drinking water quality)for a number of years, especially to rural/small town areas.
*We are investigating substantial improvement to both our reticulation & our water quality as a result of government -allied with local body- initiatives.
*Government is offering hefty subsidies to bring things up to scratrch -where tiny places like Big O can also contribute.
*Waste & water costs are quite separate on our rates bills.
*FORFEND any kind of privatised water system/s in AotearoaNZ! -
Actually, and seriously, probably "Recuerdos d'Alhambra", Segovia, solo guitar, in all it's scratchy vinyl glory - sic trasit etc. and aweful (in the original sense) music...
-
And they'd all join in, especially with the explosions!

Gah! No, no, no! Steve B, all my mates & a lot of family know all the words to the Ying Tong Song - and their falsettos are *really bad*-

I am asking you mark taslov-
and the technology was there in 1995 too-
the next load of nothing doesnt need to be responded to:
"I am an art history major"
-whoop de doo: I'm a poet.
Frankly, art - of all kinds- DOESNT receive "far too much blame for the faults of humanity" - or are you calling photo-mockups of child abuse, art? Which is, actually, the only way I percieve your posts leading-
-I've encountered your scrambled. illogical & onerous posts before, mark taslov
and have no wish to engage with you at any length.
This is it from me. Except -your last 4 lines in a previous post are truely awful writing - and mean buggerall.
Kati. -
The sort of material mark taslov says he is discussing is
a)not pornography
b)well covered (for centuries!) by artistic licence and
c)harmlessBUT
the areas that child pornography are concerned with - including those that arouse paedophiles- are very different indeed.
And art stuff - o, and counselling? After conviction for looking at art stuff? isnt, as I understand matters, covered by the Emma Solution (because it doesnt need to be.)
I mean, do we now have to consider closetting off the Alice Liddell photos? No! Because that has been dealt with in the past.
