Labour Party leader David Cunliffe has praised the Government’s responses to the MH17 tragedy and Israel’s incursion into the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday Prime Minister John Key said New Zealand was donating an additional $250,000 towards humanitarian efforts in Gaza, where nearly 700 people have been killed in the past few weeks at the hands of the Israeli Defence Force, around two-thirds of them civilians.
From the TV3 online report. It reaffirms Geovanni’s suggestion, that, and I paraphrase: Labour, a small bit better than National, would make an appropriate campaign slogan.

but that KDC has an unhealthily amount of influence.
When questioned about that on BFM last week, he stated if he had wanted to try influence the party, he could have drip fed them money . Instead he gave them a lump sum and introduced the 2 Parties. His belief was that the problems this country has are social problems and Mana understands that. That and the obvious, getting rid of National.
