Well there is that. Your book is great.I really do feel like I am wandering down memory lane. I managed visits via Laguna Beach and stop offs in Santa Cruz to catch up with Dead heads on my way to Frisco for family stuff (kinda, get out of LA ) I have bought an old 56 chev and cut it across the old route 66 from the mid west out to LA with necessary stops to find a rocker arm in a snow blizzard on a day when a reggae Festival was my intended destination.Seedy Motels with badly vibrating beds, but worth a try,just for the visual interpretation of the 70's wallpaper alone.Yes wouldn't have changed any of that for the world :)

On sad note to end the year it appears Vic Chestnutt has died after taking an overdose. A sad end to a hard life. He produced some great music and I'm glad I made the effort to go and see him earlier in the year down in Wellington.
