I think it is sad, very sad of the influence these people have and I am reminded of Isaac Asimov's quotation : " The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

A rare putting up of my ancient head to say a very large thank you for your very professional effort and who knows what doors may open.
In the mean time please accept my gratitude and it is nice to see a wee bit more of you here...just like the old days :-)

Please accept much gratitude and admiration from this very infrequent poster but consistent lurker who has enjoyed from the beginning also.
You have enabled a high standard of cogitation and reflection amongst multiple generations as I should tell you that two of my friends who lurk here and have for many years are of a similar age to myself and that's 78.
So large congrats and thanks and you certainly all speak to a wide age group :-)
