Kyle in part it already has with the nationalisation of Ngai Tahu Fishing quota becoming Maori fishing quota. Another wild act of JT.

  • THIS JUST IN,

Sh!t I'm happy for those accused and others put through bloody hell over this.

Graeme - What's the chance of a Royal Commission into this as I think it's the only thing that might help to clear the air?

Russell - I'm happy for NZ as a whole that we can take heart no-ones going against the wall any time soon.
As for the firearms charges I'll wait for the game to be played through. Tame Itis last firearms charge was IMHO a bad joke & the successful appeal took years.

So what are the charges now?

Might want to look at the growth of the Scott Parliment as a possible future course of action here.

I wouldn't expect too many in Tuhoe want boarders up but a bit of self determination.

RMA section 33 was written with a view to give power to bodies other than the govt , such as iwi, over various resources. The whole FSSB was an election grab IMHO and certainly didn't need to happen.

The path forward has been written just the last 5 or so years we've learched to the right and really need a broom to clear the path for a better future.

Dave the Judicial system might be working (if this isn't a huge tease) but there are a few areas of the Govt clearly at fault what ever the outcome:
    PM & Police hysteria
Police Actions upon Ruatoki - detention, photos, & what happened with the school bus?
Who under took the Police invasion of Ruatoki & do we need them as it crosses over the SAS CTAGs role
Serindiptiy of the Raids & TSA going before Parliment
Will Broad or White take the honours or the chop?
Police expenditure for possible firearms charges compared to - I don't know - keeping the convicted criminals inside. Although I see the prison system as largely a waste of time for the bulk of prisoners. Convicted axe murderers to remain in prison is the right place for them.

  • Random Play: The Age of Reason,

Get a firearms licence and train in making your own. I was wanting to do the course myself.
The govt have only banned the sale not DIY. Then get to know the various communities who rightly love fire works and hire yourself out to those who don't use fire works on 5 Nov.

  • Hard News: Te Qaeda and the God Squad,

Indy Media are calling for Cop-Watch - photos etc online of cops.
Too much hard word for me & if we want to stop the cops from doing it can't really drop to their level.
I do like the idea of many eyes in the street though with or without vids. Live in & walk the streets at night make it a safer place for all.

  • Speaker: Pt 2: Terrorism Charges --…,

Finn I am biased but not unreasonable.
Biased in that there is a historical context this is being played out in and IMHO all preceeding events & established facts prior to the arrests back my POV.
I'm not unreasonable when I accept previously established facts such as Tame Itis successful appeal but not subsequent harrassment and hysterical claims by the Police & PM.

Relating todays events to biblical events is a justification for putting forward his POV I would think. Rather than his words it's his stand I respect.
