  • OnPoint: Dear Labour Caucus,

Damian , you and Russell show up, and I have immense respect to that. Voting Greens makes you left apparently, so welcome, but the left is a big bunch of greviances and sore points. The right in this country voted on mass to one party in an attempt to circumnavigate MMP. But it didn't happen.

Everyone wants to know what left means but debating it seems to be painful.

  • OnPoint: Dear Labour Caucus, in reply to Sacha,

It's called demand. What can we sell that's needed, will create long term jobs and is sustainable for 20 years at least.

Fads are bad economics. We also need serious analysis on inflation, how do we accommodate a drive for new purchases that will inevitably come from a growing middle class. Inflation will happen because the lower and middle and poor will desire to purchase a life style that they don't have now , of course that's natural ,we bring more consumers into the game of no unemployment. The rich are a minority who will be taxed more but will still lead lives a western european king in any age would be envious of.

However science seems to suggest we need x amount of hours in sleep and x amount of hours in social(work) engagement and x amount of hours in leisure time, that's why they built the central park in New York

  • OnPoint: Dear Labour Caucus,

There's been too many economic crashes in the last 200 years and they always crash on the poor the hardest. Which creates a poordom. We need money into the pockets of every working person. We need everyone getting out of bed every day and in the great words of the frustrated debater,

" You should get out of the house more ."

I used to sell ads, and made a lot of money. I tried to sell an ad to a holistic healer , who made me realise what holistic means. A care to every part of your existence. A maximisation of your awake hours without feeling tired. Art is movement of electricity in the brain that adds value to the concept of having a brain, ...and unlike work it's fucking amazing to watch.Nice milestone Ben.

Mr Key said the Government's plan to sell shares in state assets would be among the issues on the agenda for the first meeting.

    Don't get caught napping.

The best plan is to put pressure on Peter Dunne, he has no mandate to sell what our citizens built in very trying times for us.

  • OnPoint: Dear Labour Caucus,

Neoliberalism has little to recommend it - and yet look how our governments still refuse to dismantle it. With no effective resistance.

I know, that's why I watch the Daily Show, because it's so bad it's pathetically funny. Politics is still Tolstoyian, the offices are wide open to the wealthy and the connected.

One day New York had to build a bridge to Brooklyn or they'd be fucked, these issues are compounding, let's have Simon Mercer wet his pants about his own future and not the idea that Labour lost the F.A Cup.
