Hard News: Incomplete, inaccurate and misleading, in reply to
Or as Cam the Man puts it…
“Every politicians who expresses outrage over playing politics is a sanctimonious hypocrite.
This whole thing is just politics…its a game, some of us play hard, some like a bunch of pansies. Get used to it, it isn’t going to change any time soon.”

Its kind of the the ‘its rugby, not tiddlywinks’ argument…until of course the hard man tactics puts a player in a wheelchair or a coffin.

Brilliant!
Classic obfuscation from a true master of the art.

Nathan Booker's death at the hands of Idea Services.
Charged and convicted....and in the "crimes" section where it belongs.
A tiny, little win.

Hah!
We missed the first ten minutes of question time....took that long to figure out how to work the telly. (I kid ye not....its been a while)
I concede though to have been somewhat entertained. Impressed by the righteous indignation from the right and the equally outraged comments from the left.
I thought Our Leader did a sterling job of living down to our expectations...we would have been disappointed had he have done the sensible thing and said 'we stuffed up, lets move on.'
But no...he just has to keep banging away on the same drum.We missed the bit when OL left the House and poor old Bill had to take up the fight.
I thought he was going to have a stroke...seriously.When Little had the floor....okay, even this cynical old bat felt a wee stirring of admiration. I think even his own side were a tad surprised at his oratory, his eloquence and his passion. He sounded really outraged and totally pissed.
At one point I thought those seated behind him were going to leap to their feet and break into either applause, or a chorus of 'hallelujahs!". He would have deserved it.
I am now feeling guilty. I have backslid, and not only watched telly...but telly in the afternoon. Shame on me.
Back to Natrad...where one has to only listen to their voices not contend with the smug, arrogant looks on some of their faces.

Our Leader being put on the rack by Scary Mary....
more denial, with a chorus of "I was out of the country...".
PS. Key was on the brink of being ejected from the House, English nearly broke his larynx and Norman softened 'em up for Little's rather impressive rant.
Sheeesh...first time ever for us watching Parliament telly....we have been missing out on the action....not.

“Reputation management today involves utilising all sources of media, especially social media platforms that allow enhanced control over the message delivery,” said Mr Graham.
Oh, yes.
It's ALL about control.

" Moreover, Key’s senior political advisor Jason Ede is found to have directed Slater to make his request – "
Slater emphatically denies this....
According to the blogger (as opposed to "journalist") Ede was begging Slater NOT go make the OIA request.
The Plot sickens.

Ditto, ditto, ditto.
A wee spring in my step this morning, hoping that perhaps, this will finish him off once and for all.
"Nah", said HWMBO as I was wrestling him into his wheelchair, "he'll slime his way out as he usually does".
He's like an eel in a bucket of snot.

I’ve no doubt this is, or could be made into a PR problem. But where’s our sense of proportion?
I suspect the PR problem has arisen because Stu seems to have little sense of proportion.
Goodness me…a fire engine as his promotional vehicle…what was he thinking???
(That…and him disingenuously letting the nation know that Cunliff had failed to congratulate him on his electoral win….)
Spare us all the egos of these people, and the silly games they play.
For what its worth…I say give Little a fair crack of the whip.
We seriously need a Labour leader with a strong workers’ rights background, we seriously need to halt this creeping acceptance that the only way to economic security is by exploiting workers….and the lowest paid workers the most.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh deary me......
Local hospital today, we were heading for the exit as a young man with Downs and his mum were on their way in.
Mum stood well back as the young man approached the volunteer 'help desk' to ask about blood tests.
I heard him, clear as a bell.
Help desk lady obviously did not.
She called out to mum....: "What is it he wants?!"
Should I have followed my instincts and gone back for a quiet word?
