Something to remember: the Federal Reserve is privately owned. While the head is nominated by the President, the entity is not part of the Government.

@ Steve
"Public domain" is a specific legal state where all claim to a particular thing has been disavowed or has lapsed. Just because something is available to the public (even for free) does not mean is is in the public domain.Having said that, the intarwebs do make a bit of a mockery of copyright law, but that doesn't mean the law doesn't exist.

PS Don Christie and I had a meeting with Judith Tizard and her officials that was less than informative. I have also emailed the political Trade spokespersons (or reasonably facsimile thereof) for their party's view on ACTA. I'll post the result on the wiki once they've come in.

Re: ACTA there have been a couple of leaks.
I started a wiki when I first learned of ACTA in June. I've put up a copy of my submission to MED, and also my Big Fun Time(tm) in getting any info out of MED. Also some links to other areas. If you're going to the Software Freedom Day event in Welly on Saturday, I should be leading a discussion on it at the barcamp.

But if you're happy in such an environment, I sincerely urge you to stay there. Please.

wonder if there's any connection between army garrisons stationed throughout the city and very peaceful and safe neighbourhoods.
I think it has more to do with the camps and prisons you are likely to get thrown into.

Meh. His whole schtick is yelling at people. You get no actual information from his "interviews" and that gives his interviewees the opportunity to look all righteous and abused. Jon Stewart would have made better job of it and he's a comedian.
