This post has made my day. Thanks, Lilith, Gudrun and Jackson. Thanks.

I love being able to do this. So thank you!

  • Capture: EQNZ Remembrance,

    Hi everyone.

Hope the continuity isn't too discombobulated by our shifting of Lilith's photos to a new feature post.

Gudrun has provided additional images too.

New Post is over here: Two Tales of a City.

Cheers, and thanks Lilith and Gudrun.

  • Capture: Pinhole Workshop Part II, in reply to Julie Cross,

Trashcam photography with wheelie bins... another level of pinhole photography.

We were discussing this possibility on the day. Our sticking point was the developing, stopping and fixing baths required to handle over-sized paper.

But there's 11 months to sort out the finer details before out next Pinhole Workshop.

But here’s the good news. A taster – until David comes up for air and is able to update y’all.

How is it even humanly possible for it to look this good already?

    Were the Saints involved?

    Roger Sutton.

"There's only been about 50 people approaching us wanting to move their houses".

So one has managed to do it by share bloodymindedness (I mean that in a nice way), what about the other 49? Clearly bringing the camera helped get the message across.

It is a marvelous thing you have done, and hopefully it may genuinely help others now, but it makes me just a little incensed that it takes this kind of coverage to get action. It's Ok if we do nothing and act like arseholes as long as no one notices?

Sorry, I'm ranting. You are all legends.

Can we call your son 'Sir Bob' from now on?

Not under the stated CC licence. That only requires attribution.

I hadn't looked at the Wikipedia page.

But I found it in several places using the Google image search unattributed. [Redacted]

  • Capture: Howling at the Moon,

Just as a matter of interest, does everyone know about the Google Image search function that allows you to 'Find similar'? It was a recently new discovery to me, thank to Petra and Jonathan.

If you click on the camera icon under image search, and enter one of your photos, Google will search via features and meta tags for similar images.

It can become a bit obsessive. For example, I'm wondering whether to send a cease and desist to some guy called Alex (no relation to our friend here) on Facebook who is using my clouds photo as his cover shot.

    The cheek of it!!!

Although he isn't profiting from it, so I'll probably let it go, just this one time.
