This whole process seems to be a triumph of monumental proportions already, and you haven't even moved the house yet. The story of everyone, and Saint Dalziel in particular, going the extra mile is incredibly heart warming.
All the best for the move.

I was just reminded of the existence of this 'super group'!
It needs sharing.
I won't admit to dancing to it though, 'cause that would be a step too far.

I wish I would know how to do that, Jackson :) I have no contacts within that industry in Auckland.
Can't promise anything, but I have a few. Will make them aware of your existence. No harm in asking, right?

A few shots of the ‘offline’ exhibition :)
It would be great to see it IRL. Any thoughts of bringing it to Auckland later?

Dawn Service - Auckland Museum.
One of my grandfathers was in the home guard and the other drove the Canteen bus for the 28th Maori Battalion. He was shot through the stomach by a South African Plane*, but lived to tell the tale, and many others.
Seems important to me that we remember all sides of the big messy equation that war is, so we can better avoid it in the future.
*Yes, they were on our side.

there a few rule changes that are designed to avoid having overly competitive 40 yr olds collide with each other.
These must be some robust rules. Do you have on-field arbitration?

We should put a team together. We could play other blogs
I'd be keen. Although my last game was during an ESL youth camp, about an hour West of Tokyo in 1991.
Not sure of the correct terminology, but 'smacked it out of the park' is how I remember it. Most likely a once in a life time shot though. And playing against 14 year olds.
I really enjoyed this blog post BTW. It's kind of aspirational.

Hardly. Already something of a star, if you ask me.
I was thinking of posting that link in the intro myself. The contributions to date have all been pretty stunning. Nice to be able to post some larger pictures.
Thanks again Alex for the opportunity to show your work here.
