It's not necessarily right, but it makes sense.
Only to the ignorant. Of course the current government isn't interested in better education, but in more profitable schools. Ditto for broadcasting.

It was my impression he was a reasonably popular local MP
He turns up to everything in the electorate. Handy that it's so close to Parliament so it isn't the burden it is for an MP out of Wellington. I don't think he actually does anything tangible or helpful except vote with John Key's National Government.

Paul Henry, who's been rabbiting on about buying influence all night. As if that isn't what his favourite parties have been doing for years. They screamed treason when the free conversion of money into political influence was briefly regulated, and they changed the law to promote it as soon as they could.
Hypocrites.
