Oh no, as you were, Gio.

What? I thought it was the 3rd? (fumbles with her diary). And save the hugs, Miss Megan. Cos you is getting one of the big bear all embracing heal the universe ones from me when I finally clap eyes on you.

Thanks Gio. I appreciate it. We're off to the doctor this afternoon, so we shall see. And anyway, by my reckoning that hug isn't too far away now. Only a week and a bit.

Very Excited. We are dealing, in our house at the mo, with a possible diagnosis of something nasty, I fear. Whatever it is, it ain't good news for my already invalided darling, so I know that in 2 weeks I will be needing a good blowing out of cobwebs. I am especially excited to be meeting Megan, and seeing all my favourite PAS people.

Oh, Sof, those shoes are all so beautiful. I wish you would wear them all more often. I would die to have feet that fitted shoes that were that gorgeous. The one part of my body that I would change immediately if I could would be these wide horrors of mine.

I often think I would donate my tits to charity, if only someone would pay. :)
I like my tits, but they are getting a bit on the saggy side. Which is what my mother always warned me would happen if I persisted in being bra-less.

Favourite clothes, I've had a few. Shoes, I've never had many. But if I had to pick one of each I would say:
- black fuckme stilettoes that I owned in my very early 20's, , that were so high I couldn't wear them on the way anywhere, just sitting down at the place where I was
- my father's wool jersey, which I appropriated after he died, and I wear when I'm cold, or when I miss Dad, or when I need to be woolly.

Ah, Mangere College. Had it's problems, and yes, many of the older kids round here either go to Onehunga High or Marcellin College. Some of them because they choose to, themselves.

There is certainly an element of Suburb snobbery in operation round central Auckland. Often due to arbitrarily drawn school zones. People still have a hard time understanding why we moved from Mt Albert to Sandringham, with our decile 5 school, when others had moved away to avoid it. Long story, but overall we are totally happy we did. Having Voila and Satya round the corner doesn't hurt either.
Bloody ridiculous, isn't it? Your local school happens to be a very good one. And I can remember the days when Gladstone was out of fashion. It doesn't only go on in the inner suburbs either. Many of the parents at our kindergarten choose for their children to go to one of the 3 schools in Mangere Bridge, and just as many choose for their kids to go all the way to Onehunga, instead of going to any of the local Mangere schools. Elitism is alive and well, wherever you go.

Also: cigars. Bigger cigars are generally better, because a skilled cigar-maker can use a more complex blend of tobaccos in the larger cigar.
Don't ya jus' love a good cigar. One thing I thoroughly enjoy smoking.
Oh. Oh. Oh. I think I should buy some for our Blend thingy. It is going to have an outdoor smoking space, isn't it, Russell???
