Boundary Road – talk about cheap & cheerful.
Their IPA is amongst the best I reckon, quite hoppy and full flavoured, not really that cheap $14 on special at t supermarket so cheaper than Epic but on a par IMHO.
Wish I had more.

So much for CERA and the council’s promises of keeping people informed and able to access their property… …Jaysus in a portaloo , after all this time. Bloody philistine ineptitude.
How hard is it? If you know which building you are knocking down there must be paperwork that will inform you of who to contact. But then again... if you're only in it for the money...

CHRISTCHURCH EARTHQUAKE
23 December 2011 - 2.30pm
Christchurch Police say initial reports following this afternoon's earthquake indicate no serious injuries or widespread damage at this stage.
Police are urging drivers to slow down. There is significant traffic on city streets - but not gridlocked at this stage - and Police appeal for drivers to be patient and take care.
All available Police units have been mobilised across the city to provide reassurance and check on safety and damage.
• Scarborough rockface has suffered some collapse but this has been contained by the containers at the foot of the cliff.
• Lyttelton tunnel is open
• Airport has been evacuated
• All major shopping malls have been evacuated and closed
• 1 person is reported to have been injured at Eastgate Mall and has been taken to hospital.ENDS

If we think there are social equity issues now, just imagine the gap that unequal access to long life would create.
Or would it? There would be so many rich people with lots of time to make more money that there wouldn't be enough to go around and they would all end up poor.

Check out Key’s RNZ Christmas message:
I'd rather not, thank you.
"I'm going to steal your stuff, sell it and then treat you like shit" is hardly a Christmas message.
Or is he lying again?. -

for the universe entropy always increases but for the individual entropy can decrease.
I would take that one step beyond...
The Human race has quite a habit of reversing entropy, we are constantly rearranging stuff into complex structures to do the most amazing things. Of course, once you get them home and plug them in entropy does its damnedest to make up for lost time. This process usually takes roughly about the same amount of time that the warranty runs for. -

“User pays” would be worth review,
Indeed, in fact it is more like "user pays twice" we pay for the people that work out how much to charge for the service we pay taxes for.
It has led to the ridiculous situation of the police having to account for the costs of everyday policing, the cost of rescues and crowd control, the cost of the jobs they get paid for. If that guy hadn't have gone missing in the bush would they really have laid off 100 police officers?. The cost remains the same, plus, of course, the cost of the accountants.

How do we disabuse John Key and co of the notion that Parliament is a forum for really bad stand up comedians –
+1
Personally I cringed. When all others had shown dignity and decorum johnkey came across like a 12 year old, making fun of others to improve his own standing. Couple that with a sneer that just makes you want to punch him and you have one big fail.
