What a great pic of Princess Chelsea in Prague. Sold out - wow. Just have to say and tis rare to do so, but have heard that picachunes song playlisted now I think, on b, several times. It's freakin awful. Super weak melody in particular and the vocal plods along endlessly, relentlessly. I like sad lonely guy stuff sure - but as I say some songs are just awful and that sure is one of em. I don't quite understand why its playlisted on b . Kids it ain't very good at all. Pop needs strong melody.

Thanks Jimmy. I know, how great was Night Crawler ! Just such a great psycho was the lead character. Kind of interesting too how it exaggerated but played on the utterly bleak dismal aspect of ratings driven tv news. Interstellar - it did have a few good psychedelic moments, but just too cluttered for me, and too much sci fi space babble but hey - cheers.

Being present through out 'the moment of truth' last night, have to say Russell your summary is spot on.

If National do lead the next government. Can you imagine Key's pending utter flippancy during question time. It will be his final term, in fact on his own admission he's likely to chuck in the towel midway and head off to the golf club anyway. I think question time was one of the most appalling aspects of his last term. And the media very rarely called him on it. He just did not care. Which may well be the truer more correct Key than the front we see during an election campaign.

Spain's to lose. Easily the most talent stacked side. But tis the World Cup and randomness generally prevails, so hmmm Germany ? - Solid solid solid.
England lol no chance - might make it out of their group, maybe. -
The people of Epsom it seems would vote for a parrot standing as the local ACT candidate so long as it's screeches were - tax cuts less government tax cuts - clearly, given it's two most recent constituent MPs and lack of moral fortitude there in.
In short - in terms of 'quality of candidate' they couldn't care less.
Strange rich people. -

Brilliant. Comment of 2014.

Journalist as the star - Gower etc. How very very sad. Grow the fk up and get some integrity. You're a journalist for gods sake do and be proud of your job. The lime light aspect is I would have thought an unavoidable occupational hazard. In the world of criminal barristers for example the late Greg King was very very uninterested in the 'star' aspect of his profile work. Rather, he was intensely focused on his craft, which is why he was one of the better criminal defence advocates this country has seen in some years.
And agree, tv news is becoming a pretty difficult watch. Campbell Live excepted. -
Hard News: What Hekia Parata actually said, in reply to
So true. Depressing how disconnected the populace would seem to be - given as you say, current polling - essentially middle NZ doesn't seem to care to much about er .. anything, house mortgages notwithstanding. Kind of depressing. Engaging with this ludicrous Minister of Education and policy ? Nah not interested.

When I come accross them, I always get at least one out loud laugh per NG interview. A tall order. Good on ya Noel. Meanwhile, gotta get on with listening to these music links. Thanks.
