I'm not saying that crews should roam the streets at night and pick up anyone drunk and incapable and ship them off to the marmite-factories, but it's a discussion worth having.

But I think it would often be hard for bar staff/door people to tell if someone is really intoxicated.
May not be easy, but their license depends on them doing this. I've seen plain-clothes police do checks on bars where they see someone get served and then decide (by talking to them) that the person was indeed intoxicated and should not have been served. The customer hasn't done anything wrong, but the bar could lose its license.

I was a bit too young to seek out or appreciate the 'true disco' that Simon and Russell are referring to. I was really just exposed to the top-40 watered-down versions, so punk came as a fantastic alternative to all that insipid stuff. Still, you couldn't really dance to punk (no, pogo does not count) so I kinda missed out on that aspect. Not so strange then, that when House-music came along in the late eighties, my former punk-mates and I got hooked on dance-parties. I guess the letter E helped.
I've since gained an appreciation of disco, but the 'disco' as showcased in the Brady Bunch Variety Hour Disco Medley still makes me nauseous.

Rich people who purchased at inflated prices and the rich bankers who loaned them the money should suffer losses, because morally we shouldn't reward the greedy rich.
And the definition of greedy rich is anyone who has bought property?

Not sure I need a bank to do that really. I do need a secure network and secure servers.
I suppose you can see a bank as a secure server where you store your bytes representing value.
But really, you can't run any kind of a business (except drug-dealing, possibly) without a bank. How are your customers going to pay you? How will you pay your suppliers and staff? How will you pay GST, PAYE and tax?

Ah, but how many partners in each marriage? Based on Jules et Jim (1962) the most popular combination would appear to be one female and two male partners in each marriage . Although, more recent studies in Big Love (2006) would suggest that a more common combination is one male and three female partners. It's not clear if this discrepancy is due to a change in behaviour over time or due to differences between French and American mores.
