Chuck another shrimp on the barby.
In fact, they found that the pressures to create a stable pair of shrimp was so intense, that any larger group became positively murderous. When they put larger groups of shrimp in a single container, the animals reduced their numbers down to a pair. "Exactly one individual in each triplet and exactly two individuals in each quartet were killed in aggressive interactions, resulting in group sizes of two individuals," the authors report.
Sound a bit like politics, eh?

John Key, John Key, give me your answer do....
Tastic... fan ;-)

Could it be that Key knows that National's 120 point plan is a fizzer, only about 20 are labelled as "New Policy" and the rest are either "in progress" or "completed".
Hardly worth headlines so getting this opportunity to shut down any discussion of policy must have either been a godsend or a blatant fabrication of scandal. -

The recording of a publicity stunt is to my mind a very, very long way from hacking the phones of murder victims and dead soldiers.
In JK's mind it is much worse, because it is about him.

And what law does the PunkAs commentator think the Herald should be prosecuted under, if it doesn’t publish the recording? The law of “not doing what I want”?
That is what I thought too.
The fact that Key has gone to the trouble of involving the police would tend to make people think there was something worth hiding, however, I would not be at all surprised if National release the tapes themselves just before the election showing that there was nothing of importance in them thus stifling more important issues and making Key appear to be "open and honest"
I do still stand by what I said earlier that it is about Peters being considered for a position in a coalition. -
Found this opinion on PunkAs
"The NZ Herald claim John Key has not given permission for his privacy to be breached. But i point to the David Lange ( Lange v Atkinson) defamation case where the court ruled that a politician discussing a matter of public interest does not have any expectation of privacy. The Herald is failing in its obligations and should be prosecuted if they don't release this tape"
Any truth in that?.

Why now?
Because National have no policy left to announce, it is just a sideshow. Can you really imagine Key and Banks having anything important to say. Just gossip about Peters that's all.

All hail King John.
More like King Cnut, trying to hold back the tide of public opinion.

Media outlets are advised that it is an offence to disclose private communications unlawfully intercepted.
So, what was that about a secret agenda? seems it is so secret the police are now protecting the Prime Minister from the people.
