I'm not sure why you hesitate, this is your blog! :-)
This is 'our blog' you mean? I'm just more verbose.

I seem to have a grey stripe across the photo - any sage advice?
I assume this isn't all of the photo then? I don't know about sage, but this looks like a partially uploaded file. If you happened to refresh page during the loading, that could happen.

I don't believe that's how we've been using it though.
No, I agree. But remembering this was a feature opened up mainly for the Chimney Book posts, which were generally posted without much text, it is adapting to this new situation quite well I thought.
Also, email me if you like. Happy to discuss.

Right, so that's fixed now. Apologies all. :-)

Any reason for that? Seems round the other way to how this site has always contextualised embedded clips for example - explanation first, media second.
Interesting point. I think the idea is that the text posted with a photo is as a 'Caption'. But you're right, we're using to having our say, and then adding the media after.
Hey, I'm still just thrilled everyone is using it. Frustration born of endeavour is better than no endeavour at all?

This sums up what I do, what I'm all about.
And then they turn into this. Not trite at all.
By the way, the developers are working on the JPG/jpg issue, and we'll try to post some reliable guidelines later today.
Along with another post maybe. Anyone want to see more of the students hanging off the Auckland Uni buildings?

Guidelines and troubleshooting repertoire would be good…
Yes, we're working on it.
Overall though, I'm loving the New Dialogue of imagery, text and nostalgia. It's everything I hoped for... Oh crap, a Joe Cocker earworm.

That’s fantastic. Thanks. Did you find anything wrong in particular?
