this just put my head somewhere mysterious and wonderful for half an hour.
Lovely jubbly. I remember being 16 and going to Wgtn Museum/Art Gallery to see the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection. It was too much for me. And living in London and going to the National for the first time. I walked in, got a few steps into the Impressionists and had to leave. Too overwhelming. Too much beauty.

I come to PAS for the oysters, but I stay for the pearls.
I love that, Giovanni.

Bugger McCafe. Have you seen the tapas menu at the bar? Arrancine? Come to Mama. And I've just noticed that The Quadrant is, in fact, the old Intercontinental. Who'd a thunk it?

Ahem. Some of us were there, actually. And some of us did kick some coppy shins. Not me, I hasten to add. Now that was a complex situation. Can you imagine coming out of police college and finding yourself on the Red Squad, and in full blown riot gear?. Very scary shit.

Anyway, I vote for Tony's in Wellesley St.

Cobb and Co. used to be okay. About 35 years ago. Now - not so much. Valentines has never been okay. Ever.

I can remember going to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the early 80's. About the same time was when Friday the Thirteenth et al came out as well, I think. I discovered I do not like horror movies. Surprise.
