Two (3 with road, but that needs a new bridge) airport links are better than 1. Why do we always try for the one fits ALL solution, hell lets go stupid and integrate transport solutions!
Portage Road was so named because that's where Maori lugged (portaged) canoes from one harbour to the next. There is a war canoe (waka) buried somewhere there in the mud now apparently...
How about a ferry service from Cornwallis to Helensville, now that's Fitzcarraldo-ey!
In the bad old days you could catch a ferry from Onehunga wharf to New Plymouth - direct. -
McGehanesque?
I didn't want to say it, but I think Limited Nuclear Strike on Iran is in the offing, because I thought of the most stupidesque thing the RWD's (Right Wing Death Beasts) could do to accelerate The Rapture. -
I wear soy suits (thanks Henry!), my wife ditched the shoulder pads for politics, we are POMO.
Intersting quote today, read comments section..."When has any market not been supported by the military?"

The Vision is,
Give them games not roads! -
John Key takes John Tamihere's cats to parliament as evidence of feline underclass, suggests petfood companies sponsor a lunch for every cat, horse industry outraged, Peter's torn between pussy and gambling.

Richard's ideas are great but Auckland isn't working now, let alone what hell it will be to live and work here in 20 years time. -
Best quote ever from SI..."There were no Maori down here, too cold, no food." I had just read that the central Dunedin area supported round 284 Pa sites...
Best flip, meeting a 6th generation who had Chinese features and handled so well the usual Asian comments. I too am 6th generation but not from British, Scots, descendants, something people tend to forget down there. -
I liked it when it got to the children reporting on their parents, that was really effective.
Enough or too much! Blake -
I don't eat breakfast, never have, and I'm relatively normal, mawp. Is this call to breakfast part of mainstreaming NZ? Indeed the whole thing is getting pretty creepy. Was it just me or was John's little car ride with the young Maori girl, when he swung on her and said (to the camera I think), "We're going to have a good time arn't we?" totally fecking Pygmalian?
