  • Hard News: Compromise,

i think Brian's a bit of a bishop, but not in the ecumenical sense.

Ah, Riddley, I think you mean where he lives.

From wikipedia "In some Christian churches, the diocese is an administrative territorial unit administrated by a bishop, hence also referred to as a bishopric".

Just saw Lordgod Tamaki on 'Campbell Live'. He says that Helen Clarke is not qualified enough to make law about children because she has no children of her own.
No law about abortion for you then, Bishop?

  • Cracker: Flashback,

Why do cats go and stare at things? Our dear cat P.T.Barnum (he was a Clayton cat, Che) who went to valhalla last year, used to go and stare at the ceiling for 10 minutes after his breakfast for a couple of months. Then he didn't.
    Can they see ghosts?

Judging by the General Debate, the Nat line is that it's all down to the heroic diplomacy of Mr Key

That's interesting, he told Kathryn Ryan, on 9 to noon, that it was due to a chat with Cullen that they had at a conference in Australia.
He didn't actually say that "it was all down to me" and actually passed up the opportunity to do so. Do we see the emergence of a McCully spin????

These are all great stories and back up the theory that we wouldn't be here if we didn't have genes from good survivors.

Maybe one has to have an insect vector that gets the radiation and then bites one after the insect enzymes have modified the particle accelerator products. I'm just winging it here because I am as perplexed as anyone as to the lack of superpowers.
