Little known facts 1
The Worlds Largest recorded Iceberg was one tenth the size of New Zealand's North Island, despite that fact it was, almost, ten times as interesting. -
@ Rich Lock
Well, according to the The Manual it should be 1.2 - 1.5 bar with the pump set to 9 bar while the relief valve is set at 12 bar. However, for falafel I would recommend one of These for that extra crispy shell.
Or one of These for the smaller kitchen. -
Southerly: Tower Insurance Have Some Bad…, in reply to
At want point do the people get put first?
But they are being put first.
The powers that be are merely protecting us from ourselves, we don’t want a spate of broken fingernails or grazed knees do we? You might be ok if you were a Goldfish but we know how fragile people are. When I were a kid we used to play with Mercury on the classroom benches in science class, these days it would require a Hazmat team on standby and a mass evacuation. In fact I remember a lesson where the teacher used a beaker of oxygen and a glowing spill to light his Pipe that he constantly puffed on during lessons.
Personally I feel that the blanket exclusion of building owners and occupiers goes beyond safety and security, call me a conspiracy theorist if you must but hey?
If the exclusion is in place for the protection of property it has failed miserably, in terms of protecting life and limb we will never know.
Or is it all about ACC protecting its investment and the carving up of valuable real estate for the chosen few? -

Extraordinary story in the news tonight about Key and his people paying a PR firm $10,000 (of taxpayers’ money) to get on the US Letterman show in 2009.
Key goes on to say that they paid no-one to get him on letterman. He explains this by saying that they retain the services of a company that does this sort of thing for them.
Hmm, sounds like paying someone to me.

What income and equity level do you set as “Rich”?.
I don't have to, NBR publishes a list for us.

The premium price commanded by vine-ripened “trusses” can’t all be due to Nigella having told people they’re better. And unless you carefully remove the fruit before you pay, they’ve found a way to sell you the stalks.
Does leaving the tomato on a bit of disembodied vine help in the process of ripening? or is it that the mixture of red and green reminds us of Christmas and triggers our pleasure centres at the supermarket?

The economics problems are – not compounded by the Rich Listers
I beg to differ. What use would it be if the Country gained 10 Billion if that 10 billion just ended up in some "Rich Listers" trust account?
Remember, every dollar held by an avaristic "Have" is a dollar denied the humble "Have Nots" -
The new jersey is 50% lighter than the previous one. [How light are they gonna get?]
The main body is a single tube. [The All Blacks are now a series of tubes]
The seams are bonded not knitted. [The previous one was the same]
“The tube has been augmented to fit the player like no other tube construction before”. [This is actually what the press release says]What next? Anti-gravity devices? "a series of tubes" A bit like the Internet then? The Inter Knit perhaps, what of the future?; "To boldly go, like no other tube construction before"
Beam me up Sonny.
