Oh, by "here" I'm referring to, you know, some other political commentary and opinion blogs. I guess it is the curse of the button that the comments sections on blogs allow totally based-on-nothing-but-my-ass comments to go out there into the ether.

Don't give up (I know you won't), you've already shown up every journo in NZ. I'm guessing this is not an Intredpid Journey NZ On Air Gig, are you funding this trip yourself?
The ramifications of actually having someone right there instead of the humidor atmosphere of blog opinion here, is blowing my mind.
Memo to newsroom, send bloggers.

We need generically stated rights...
And that I would suggest is exactly what they don't want to happen, never have, never will, because the revenue is in new formats (as you stated) and expolitation of content creators (Courtney Love interestingly had quite a lucid comment on this and was, naturally, pilloried for it).I say talk to people who have created their own original stuff, first.
The other party really interested in the law of this are the iTunes aggrogators (sp) I'm guessing. In this world your either a Creator or a Commentator, and then along come the Agents.

Spooky, it's like their are two DPF's. The one you'd happily have a glass of wine with and the one you hope never gets near the levers of power.

There seems to be a number of issues being jammed together here. Wasn't Tizard responsible for some very strange "copyright" law involving photography here in NZ?

Which begs the question, we need this and why?
