Actually, they are opposites but I get what you mean.

We all have disabilities, I consider Phill Goff disabled when it comes to winning an election. Time to go eh?
But I digress, I guess. -
I don't like the term "Disabled" it seems to suggest total inability and idleness, as in Disabled printer or what have you.
Less able would, in my mind, be more descriptive, surely. A totally disabled person would be dead.
I await a barrage of wordology from Sacha.

Australia found ways to ensure everyone shares the responsibility and benefits of improving productivity.
I would call bullshit on that. The first Australians are still having their land grabbed for the benefit of the powerful.
And what a great deal they got "Give us your mineral rights and we might consider letting you have reticulated water or even electricity" -
It’s worth noting that in a World Cup year, no rugby player won any award.
I have a feeling that the RWC is the worst ever thing to happen to rugby in New Zealand.
We have gone from the focus of the game being a rural pastime and focal point of many communities to just another business run buy faceless men in suits selling concessions to Big Alcohol. I will be leaving town for the duration.
And, yeah. Roller Derby is way cool.
Oh and Joanna, the point of a uniform is in its uniformity. ;-) -

marking time in a disaster zone isn’t a very useful way to live a life if you’re desperately unhappy doing it.
I left a perfectly well functioning City, London, in an attempt to ease my own depression.
As they say "You can never run from yourself" and so I brought my daemons with me but the change seemed to help. If the root of your despair is a wrecked city then I would tend to think "making a new start" and moving on could be nothing but a positive step, after all, "the world is your lobster" as the delightfully confident Arthur Daley would say. -

In fact why is the airport company dabbling so amateurishly in tourism promotion anyway? Isn’t that someone else’s job?
Yes we have a Minister of Tourism, John Key if I remember correctly. His amateurism is astounding.
A more apt sign regarding our film industry would be "Cheaper than Mexicans, but we speak English"
So. I suppose WELLYWOOD would be cheaper. -

So I go away for a few hours and you guys are all quoting Nietzsche and Keynes to each other ...
That's it, lower the tone of the neighbourhood... ;-)
Meanwhile in quotesville...The main parliamentary parties are now devoted to the same economic policies - socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor - and the same foreign policy of servility to endless war.
This is not democracy. It is to politics what McDonalds is to food.
Pilger again.
-
Or John Pilger
This is not to say parliamentary politics is meaningless. It has one meaning now: the replacement of democracy with a business plan for every human activity, every dream, every decency, every hope, every child born.

so we won’t ever know.
Won't ever know what? laying it on people to prove a negative is an old political trick, yes?
