Regardless of the election result there is blame to lay on the MSM purely because it was solely Hager who wrote DP and who then became the focus of all the hatred. So many journos were implicated directly or indirectly and they let this shit prosper. Yes, there's blame to lay.

Labour lost, they are not the Government, they have not been accused of corrupt behaviour, there has been no scandal of conflict of interest, there has not been a suggestion of obstruction of justice, there has been no evidence of deliberate destruction of the reputations of public figures, there has been no reports of cash for favours. No, the party that did all that, the party that “won”, the party that now governs is not being questioned, not being held to account, not having its corrupt leader challenged it is being treated like a hero.
And there is no point in telling the MSM to wake up, it doesn’t work on zombies.Magnificent!

That may be true, but here’s what Labour’s just gotta live with in return: my main take-away from election night was loud and clear inside my head: Fuck Labour. Seriously, fuck ’em. Arrogant, directionless, power-hungry, cowardly losers.

There will always be shitty office toilets to clean, holes to dig for more pointless cables, McJobs selling pappy burgers and soggy pizza, great waves of old, senile, incontinent souls to wash and dress. All manner of drudgery that will still require a being to get up in the morning and to do the work.
One sector of society sees these people and understands their need to be rewarded, respected. Another sector of our society doesn't, gets irritated by their neediness.
Yes, the planet is fucked up but as long as we still have the necks to fit into the collars some will be blue. -
